Aurelio Miracolo
Ciao, mi chiamo Aurelio, ho 21 anni e vengo da San
Marzano sul Sarno, un piccolo paese nei pressi di Pompei, in Campania. Studio
Economia all'Università di Siena e frequento il secondo anno della triennale.
Questo è il primo anno in cui faccio il Roommate, sono affascinato dall'idea di
poter condividere casa con persone di una cultura differente, e sono anche
orgoglioso di potergli "presentare", spero nel modo migliore, il mio
paese. Sono molto interessato alla musica, alla pittura, alle arti in genere;
penso che il lavoro di CET Siena non possa far altro che arricchire, oltre che
di nuove esperienze, anche di nuove idee e contenuti, sia noi roommates, sia
voi, provenienti da un altro continente. Non ho mai viaggiato oltre i confini
dell'Europa, sebbene mi piaccia molto viaggiare, e spero che questo sia solo il
primo contatto con il "nuovo mondo."
Hi, I'm Aurelio,
I'm 21 years old and I come from San Marzano sul Sarno, a small town near
Pompeii, in Campania. I’m in my second year at the University of Siena and I
study Economics. This is my first year as a Roommate, and I'm amazed by the idea of sharing a home with
people from a different culture, and I'm also proud to show them my country.
I'm very interested in music, painting, and the arts in general; I think that working
with CET Siena, through new experiences, new ideas and contents, cant not only
enrich both us Roommates, but also you guys, coming from another continent. I
have never traveled outside of Europe, although I really like to travel, and I
hope that this will be only my first contact with the "new world."

Hello everyone! My name is Claudia, I am 20 years old
and I am studying English and Russian interpreting at the University for Foreigners here in Siena. I
come from Viareggio, a small city on the northern coast of Tuscany, where an
amazing Carnevale is held.
L’anno scorso mi sono trasferita a Siena per frequentare i corsi all’università e mi sono subito innamorata di questa città e della sua atmosfera.

Nel tempo
libero mi piace cucinare (…e mangiare!) e viaggiare. Spesso la mia valigia è
pronta per partire e visitare nuovi posti: penso che ci sia sempre qualcosa di
bello da vedere, a volte anche senza allontanarsi troppo. Per il momento non ho
mai superato i confini dell’Europa, ma appena ne avrò l’opportunità, mi
piacerebbe visitare gli USA…Ci vediamo
presto a Siena!
Hello everyone! My name is Claudia, I am 20 years old

Last year I moved to Siena
to attend the courses at Uni and I soon fell in love with this new city, both for
its beauty and its unique atmosphere.
In my free time I enjoy
cooking (and, of course, eating!) and traveling. My suitcase is frequently
packed to leave and visit new places: I think that even without going too far,
there is always something worth seeing! For the moment I’ve never been anywhere
farther than Europe, but I’ d like to visit the USA as soon as I have the

Ciao! sono Michela direttamente da Mesagne in Puglia,
il "tacco d' Italia". E' il secondo anno che sono a siena per
studiare giurisprudenza e sono sempre più presa da questi studi e dalla
bellezza della città. La carriera giuridica è lunga ma fin da ora credo la mia
strada si dirigerà verso l' ambito internazionale. Non credo infatti, ci sia
cosa più bella dell' acquisire varie prospettive di vita avvicinandosi a
culture diverse e costruire sempre più collegamenti solidali nel mondo...
mescolare diversità non può che produrre positività :)! E' il motivo per cui
quest' anno ho iniziato a collaborare con CET. Cerco di riempiere la mia
giornata di sorrisi e varie attività: mi lascio facilmente trascinare in
qualsiasi attività sportiva (amo correre la sera in "Fortezza"), da
12 anni faccio campeggi con gli scout e per un pò di tempo ho lavorato come animatrice
nel mio paese. Mi diverte molto anche cucinare e più di qualche sera mi vedrete
alle prese con qualche traduzione inglese (è una mia pecca lo ammetto... spero
di migliorare anche con voi, dandovi una mano in italiano naturalmente!)
Hi! I' m Michela directly from Mesagne in
Puglia, the "heel of Italy". This is my second year in Siena studying law and I’m
increasingly involved in these studies and fascinated
by the beauty of the city. The legal career is long
but even by now I think my way will go
towards the international sphere. I do not believe there
is anything more beautiful than capturing various
perspectives of life, approaching different
cultures and to build more links of solidarity worldwide ... mixing diversity can
only produce positivity :)! It's the reason why this
year I have started working with CET. I try to fill my
day with smiles and activities: I get easily carried away
by any sport (I love running in the evening in
"Fortezza"), I have been camping with Scout groups for 12 years,
and I worked as an entertainer in my town. I really
enjoy cooking and you will see I’ll take a stab at
some English-Italian translation nightly (it's my fault I
admit it ... I hope to improve thanks to you, giving you a
hand in Italian of course!)
